Daily Create 2: Audio

Daily Create Week 2: Audio

For this week’s Daily Creates, we focused on using audio to create different forms of media, both visually and audibly. I found that this week was a really neat topic, and though I am definitely not the most comfortable when it comes to recording myself, it was interesting to see how audio could be changed and adapted into so many different forms. I found that as the week progressed, I was more comfortable incorporating audio into my learning, though more so if it wasn’t my own voice. I also learned about how audio can be a really useful form for multimedia learning because it allows you to create audio to express yourself, use audio to draw inspiration, and can increase engagement by making you experiment more with your learning.

Visualize the Music:

For this Daily Create, we were asked to use the Google App Seeing Music to create different designs using our voices. This one was a little bit out of my comfort zone as I don’t tend to record myself often, but it was definitely fun to see how the same melody could create different designs and patterns depending on whether you used waveform, oscilloscope, etc to visualize the melody. I used Canva to put the images of the same melody with different forms of visualization, and it came out pretty neat.

Fish Disco:

For this Daily Create, we were asked to create what we imagined a “fish disco” would look like. I chose to use Canva to create the image, and I’m super happy with how it turned out. Rock on!

Guess my Dream Job:

For this Daily Create, we were asked to record an audio file related to our dream job, upload the file and have viewers guess our dream job. This one was really fun because I was able to go out into my dream workspace to record it. Which is really fun. Good luck guessing!
